1/3 This week we were finally able to meet with the municipality's parks manager and we discovered that what we know as a park is not a park. They explained to me that it was a small beach, but the neighbors used tires as containment, filled it with dirt and put trees. The municipality is not responsible for that park and that explains the abandonment; Those responsible apparently are the sailors because it is the shore of a river.

2/3 Since the municipality is not in charge of the park, the grass has already been cut and it is more tidy.

3/3 It was a very important discovery because it showed us that the neighbors are committed to the maintenance of the park, we already met one of them and now we only have to talk to the neighborhood association and the sailors. If the sailors do not give us authorization, we will still maintain this park but we will do the plant project in another in the sector.

It was the original plan, but after going to ask for authorization it seems that we will not be able to have a formal authorization, that is why we are talking with the neighborhood association for another park that this week we confirmed and uploaded photos.
(although we will not be able to formally obtain permission for the river park, we will still clean it and continue helping to maintain it, especially since it is in this limbo where there is no authority to take responsibility)
