I Got Scammed: Sharing the culprit reason & need advice 🧵 Three days ago, both my MetaMask wallets were drained , and I’ve been trying to find the cause. I suspect it’s linked to an app called Javio[.]io that I downloaded on Nov. 8th after my teammates recommended it. The app asked me to drag it to the terminal, which felt suspicious, especially since it wouldn’t open afterward. The hack happened on Nov. 12th, right when my staked ETH was released, making me think they timed it. What raises my suspicion further is that: 1) Javio’s website briefly disappeared from search engines yesterday and then reappeared on a new domain sunamiworld[.]ir. The domain is only 49 days old https://whois.domaintools.com/javio.io. Today they are back with javio domain.

I know how shocking this can feel. But hang in there and hope you recover from it (mentally) soon. Once you recover mentally you’ll be on your way again. Remember all the tough times you have been through before you and you made it.

Thank you. It’s shocking because I'm not an active trader or frequent swapper—I mostly do this for learning and fun. My mistake was trusting the people who shared the link with me. They weren't affected because they don't keep MetaMask on their computers like I do. Another have told me they downloaded it without any issues, but I’m skeptical for several reasons. It feels like I'm crazy here, but the most important thing is that trust is gone. Sorry to complain/whine this to you ❤️
