Of the 18 or so people at Merkle, I think I know where 3/18 went to college.

College is helpful for career if:

1. You major in something with hard skills
2. In the US, you got to a school that gives you an initial professional network

But after your first or second job, most places just care about what you've done at the previous job (or built on your own).

I feel this so hard, I graduated from master in science in logistics and man my degree is worth nothing. It was and still is so hard to find a job especially in web3. Started two small business which did not succeed but I learned more by doing it than from uni. My parents are more happy than me for having a degree haha. The things you can learn by yourself online are much more useful than uni.
