*there are always exceptions, but I expect them to become few and far between, especially as critical applications continue to migrate onchain. Onchain composibility brings yet another advantageous dimension to being fully open.

If you're working at a company whose codebase isn't 100% open source (or in the process of being open sourced) you're probably going to lose. The advantages of mass-collaboration from open source tools & processes far outweigh the benefits of keeping certain tech proprietary.
