Disappointing to hear that from someone I respect, but I agree the document is a tough read. I had a conversation with Dan Boneh about it a while back, and he gave me some good feedback on how to make the whitepaper more approachable, which I'd love to apply once we're out of the thick of it on launching mainnet.

One thing I'll note: I’m certain my old crypto lunch talk at Coinbase is still there somewhere where I spoke about the future of crypto and described a lot of these concepts in simpler terms, maybe give it a watch?

I read the paper when it came out, and it took me one week to ramp up and another week to backfill with other related topics.
I think I got 75% of it now. It has some very ambitious goals and some may seem impossible, but if this works out to 75% - we will be in a better state in crypto.

Happy to give it another chance. Will dig up the internal talk and spend more time with it.
