@jacek - I've been vocal about my thoughts on the state of degen, the bans, the claims, tipping etc, but complainers are useless and I personally loathe people who do nothing but bitch and moan. So for starters, apologies. I should come with something constructive. (credit to @jdotfinn for very very subtly calling me out on that) What I think now: (constructive stuff after) 1) Tipping is over. It was fun when it was chaos at the start and when the token was worth a lot. But that time has passed and tipping no longer works in this age of Degen. As long as there is a financial incentive to do so, farmers will find a way. And if you try and fight farmers, you'll hit a bunch of good folks with friendly fire. 2) Trying to foster the 'right' type of content is too hard, too subjective and trying to tell people to tip 'authentic' content is a losing battle and comes off like behavioral nudging.

Here's what went through my head in seeing your reply. - ah, that's nice. - Brandon and I don't cross paths alot, but he's a nice guy - oh look a degen tip, that's nice too! - I should tip him back for the nice reply - oh wait...can I? - he tipped me 100, so if I tip him 100 are we 1:1 and getting into ban country? - but Jacek said 60% was threshold so should I should I tip him 59? - that'll look stupid to Brandon to who I haven't seen in a while - I guess I won't tip. - Will he think i'm a jerk? - naw, he knows what's going on. - He knows what's going on. - He just tipped me knowing I can't tip him back, and I will now carry this baggage for all eternity. - He knew that... Brandon... a nice guy?? - I guess I'll just say Thank you, mfer. 😅

100% - in a degenerate ecosystem, you shouldn't have to 'keep track' or 'manage' anything - administration is the enemy.
