Alright ITAP fam. 3 hour flight to Texas.  

I’ve been a photographer for 14 years.

It is not my main source of income.

I reside in Los Angeles.

I mainly shoot landscapes and cityscapes.

Ask anything you want to know. Will answer anything as long as it’s appropriate.

Question for photographers:

All my photos look terrible, most of them are cracked on gradients, mostly a disaster...

But, I noticed that the photos of some fellow photographers looks GREAT!

Where am I wrong?

On my computer looks great! Everywhere looks great actually, computer, cellphone, instagram, X, facebook...

Yea it’s a known issue here it’s not great when uploaded. What I do is paste the url to the photo from my web hosting site and it embeds the photo instead. This helps with the banding you see compared to the direct upload

It works but it also eats up character limit so you can’t cast as long but it’s a tradeoff since I want my photos to display as good as possible

Yes, I've seen some people do that, it seems like a good solution... But I also see some photographers' photos that look perfect, so I'm not sure what's going on with mine 😄
