Please think carefully about the staking mechanism…a top limit to not make this a whale game would be reasonable

Staking is common in crypto. 
Imo, Degen should leverage the SocialFi elements that built its strong community. How can we take a typical feature like staking, present in over 70% of projects, and integrate it into SocialFi?

One idea is to provide access to gated channels with DAO-like advantages. We need to keep improving the innovation in Farcaster to strengthen our community bonds. We already have @hypersub (@nonlinear.eth) as a potential infrastructure for gated channels. By adding staking as an additional requirement, we could create various channels with staking thresholds to unlock powers or perks, all related to DEGEN.

It's more about not having a top limit. Or else outside whales could stake 100 million degen and ruin everything we have been building with openrank and SCV thus far.

Cos if the requirement is too high, it might discourage a lot of holders, and beyond anything it might disrupt the community, which I think is the most important component
