How many times do I have to repeat that most users and developers on Farcaster did not know Varun or myself prior to joining Farcaster.

And in some cases have *become* friends because they stuck around early on when no one else cared. We've spent years with this people socializing on this social network. :)

Don't conflate something that's earned / built with cronyism.

i saw someone mention farcaster on twitter, so i looked up dan (i knew nothing about him before that) and sent him a DM on halloween night 2022. he sent me an invite that very night, and my life hasn't been the same since.

farcaster's greatest value has always been its community. it is the best open community not only in crypto, but in all of tech.

because knowing is finding the limits /outercorps

I also got here in Oct 2022 and it was a VERY different place back then.

I have a theory that Farcaster exists inside a Hyperbolic Time Chamber, where time-space follows its own rules.

yea! it was really small for a while. even seven months later there were only a few dozen of us at farcon 2023. it's grown a lot in the past year!
