Maybe because some people bought your tokens with their wallet, and some with locked moxie in the vesting contract. The latter would not show the user as the token holder.

Hmmm makes total sense! I want to make a giveaway based on the token holders, I'm thinking the best way I can do it right now. Maybe it doesn't exist yet.

Ok, I checked the smart contracts. Every Moxie airdrop receiver has their own vault contract (for locked/vesting moxie). So if you buy a fan token using locked moxie, this vault contract will own the fan tokens then. A Vault contract has a function called "beneficiary()" where you can see to whom this contract (and locked moxie + fan tokens) belong to. Basically, if you want to get a full list of your fan token holders, you'd write a script which would go through all holder addresses and see if calling the beneficiary() function would return anything. If it returns nothing (or error), it means it's an EOA address. If it returns an address, then consider that address as the real holder.

Now if @undefined can just add this to the moneygun would fit nicely and easily 😂👀
