If you want a smaller government that functions and has the least amount of bureaucracy, a theory I have is that the best option is to become a citizen of a somewhat temperate country that has industrialized (ofc you have to be naturalized first; but that’s a separate topic) The theory is - the more people you have to manage, the bigger the bureaucracy. Right, so focus on smaller countries, low population size or population density that have high GDP per capita β€” I’m thinking countries like Luxembourg, Lichtenstein, Singapore, Iceland, Andorra, San Marino, Malta, Ireland, Qatar, Bahrain, etc to a certain extent Norway, Denmark, Slovenia etc
