I wrote an article "Farcaster in April: Being an Open Protocol, Being a Social Layer, Being an Enabler of FarFi."

A very nice piece on FarCon and what’s beyond. especially loved the last part: "The social layer is the product". Farcaster combines "a composable social graph, portable identity, and financial primitives" designed as public goods, making it uniquely important in the crypto world.  

I said something similar last year, that Farcaster could become "a social layer for chains", letting devs build onchain apps using its social graph and any chain underneath. and now, we’re seeing this social layer grow and evolve:

- more onchain people: as it "welcomes anyone with something to share", driven by the "onchain is for everyone" spirit and growing incentives and creator rewards.
- more onchain apps infras: miniapps (across clients) + warpcast wallet...
- more onchain content types: text, images, video, podcasts, music and coins, covering crypto-related and beyond.

I truly believe this is happening because Farcaster is "building something protocols rarely achieve: cultural gravity". Excited to see what’s next!
