one could argue it’s a poll, not a directive, and understanding how people *really think* is a net benefit to both societies

Since Britains are being arrested for social media posts it’s clear they don’t have free speech and a poll like this can help gauge the sentiment where ppl are not afraid to participate in therefore it does help understand peoples views.

loosely agree; not as powerful an argument since we don’t have demographic data on them (ie if none of the pollsters reside in Britain). appreciate you thinking through what this could mean beyond an *rocketman bad* reaction.
