I did see a few videos on YT of people claiming you can remove the ssd but unfortunately i dont think they are upgradable. Still requires soldering I think. I'll be good with expanding memory with external SSD via Thunderbolt 4. This is the base Mac Mini M4 with 16GB ram + 256GB SSD

Thanks, and same to you! The MBP is a beast. I think the M4 Mini might finally convince me to get one too. I got the Mini because it’s so beautiful, and I want to try doing some iOS app development. I also heard it can handle basic video editing, and I recently got a DJI Avata 2, so should be fun
