luckily not a drastic change from m3pro to m4pro at least not for my utilizaiton. heard the mini's are sick tho

I did see a few videos on YT of people claiming you can remove the ssd but unfortunately i dont think they are upgradable. Still requires soldering I think. I'll be good with expanding memory with external SSD via Thunderbolt 4. This is the base Mac Mini M4 with 16GB ram + 256GB SSD
