i grew up going to quaker school and from a young age felt a deep calling to make the world a better place. the quaker values in particular stuck with me: simplicity, peace, integrity, community, equality, stewardship.
when i first learned about crypto, i pretty immediately felt like this new technology could be a huge lever for driving those values across the world.
it could help take our legacy, complex systems and make them simple.
it could bring together people across borders and encourage peace.
it could give us transparency which could help us build systems with more integrity. it would let communities own their own destinies.
it could give everyone, regardless of where they are born or where they live, access to a level playing field.
it could be a tool to help us better steward our countries and our planet.
from pretty much that moment, it's felt like my life's work to make that reality come to be. candidly, i thought it would happen in a few years... but here we are ~12 years later. soon :P 2 replies
