He did what he did with as much fervor as a Nazi authority figure would’ve, as documented through the original Nazi movement and modern Neo Nazi movements. It’s not a simple hand wave, if that’s what you’re trying to argue. 

Everything has context, subtext - and based on your response, you seem to want to ignore all of it.
