secretly jealous of ya'll going to trips and conferences - someday i'll do the conference circuit too and it's gonna be a world tour

I personally combine some conferences + a few days before/after for exploration and chill meetups.

besides that it's just insane. if you want to get work done and aren't in Sales/Business Development or required to travel for fundraising it makes no sense.

if you can use the business expense for travel sure, but one can easily loose sight of the main thing when doing the circus

that's what I've been trying out this year

need to be picky and learn to avoid all that sales/bd/vc crap

sometimes you can get to real nice places tho because of them like the pic attached on top of marina bay sands iconic rooftop

devcon should be a bit different than other conferences, I expect there to be far more builders than bd/vc/sales folks

it's also done in a way not to flood with hundreds of side events, so while main conference is running it should be the main place to be
