increasingly more 10k fids & below are in my dms calling for me to get LOUDER it appears the inner circle is finally getting pissed off? two notable developments: 1) βget louder for usβ β people are scared to speak up due to fear of retribution from ex-cb mafia (this is horrifying, no different than censorship & why we get called linkedin) 2) just talked to a second crypto & fc og who is now advising an fc competitor interested in tokenizing the social graph: one just wants to start a fire; the other is giving βfine iβll do it myselfβ energy while i appreciate dans recent visibility on the timeline, weβve debated this time & time again to no end & nothing has changed out of love for the network, the people want SOME of the 100m+ of capital being SAT ON deployed & deployed LOUDLY starting with ONE non dev hire to run ONE of these initiatives (to start): > eco fund > marketing & ua > branding & optics > grants & devrel > meaningful creator rewards & ambassador program

also social networks are a marathon. the fact that merkle has so much capital makes me more confident farcaster will be around in 10 years and my time spent here is not wasted. remember all the attention-grabbing apps that launch and shut down just as quick every year?

social networks are a marathon but the runners are deep in the race already & getting exhausted & the people who put on the race have an untapped well just a splash & we all show up to the finish line π¬π¬
