Solana seems more focused on practicality and user experience, coming across as lively and down-to-earth, while Vitalik’s speech leaned toward technical depth and future vision (despite his attempt to be lively by singing). 

This also makes it understandable that the recent market prefers SOL and criticizes ETH.

how can solana be focused on UX when the chain freezes and txs fail all the time, without a stable ground UX will never be great

also haven't seen any useable apps on solana, only pump.fun

but pump is not useable either, just has a lot of volume which is why solana appears to be doing better, which is fake growth/temporarily viral situation

jupiter is just a uniswap analog on solana right

magiceden is the opensea analog

both are specific to solana chain

while base wants to abstract the tech and build consumer which is what I really like

agree, which is why I find it hard to jump on the Solana hype. I admit there are some apps on Solana with good user experiences, like Jupiter and MagicEden, but right now, Base has more user-friendly and practical apps. Phantom wallet did improve the mobile experience for many Solana apps in the past, but now wallets like Coinbase Wallet and Rainbow also offer great experiences.
