Designs go through a lot of feedback and iterating before they go live. Gathering thorough requirements, developing a deep understanding of the problem, and asking better questions will reduce your risk of spending hours chasing the wrong idea only to end up back at square one. Would love to see some context first on what decent is, does, why, who's for etc. before getting into the design for it
