One way is to make it less like a business that wants to quit/be sold into a lifetime company that solves the problem people have in the best possible way without focusing too much on profits.

love the energy but probably doesn’t make anyone who joined for equity payouts pretty happy - which is a problem for retaining talent at challenging juncture
