Puzzled by my timeline and the allegations around @proxystudio.eth, I dug a bit and found this post from @zachxbt.

Even though what he did when at @velodrome is reprehensible, he returned the funds and felt pretty bad about the whole situation.

I understand the shock and feeling of betrayal of the @clankeronbase when they discovered this and I understand the loss of trust that followed... 

... but I also believe that @proxystudio.eth shouldn't have to pay for the mistake he did forever. He proved to be a solid builder and, to my knowledge, he did nothing reprehensible for Clanker.

Everybody can be weak and f*ck up at some point... life's not easy.
What matters is what you do after you messed up.
Your post-reaction defines who you are more than the mistake you did.

I wanted a non-crypto point of view, so I asked wife for her opinion:
she disagrees with me.

"Given what he did, he should be grateful not to be in jail. Many people got in trouble for much less. He should have disclosed his identity. Yeah that sucks but that's the consequence of his actions."
