Are there blockchain bridges built into wallets? Unless I’m missing something, I don’t see any. Is it difficult to build in? Dangerous?

I wasn’t clear. 

I didn’t a bridge between L1’s (although Eth to Tez would be awesome). I’d just like to transfer from L1 to L2 or between L2’s without going to a separate bridge. I love Orbiter. I’d love it more built into @rainbow  or /metamask

There’s a bridge option within MetaMask that might be what you’re looking for :)
