This is why we need Web3 social media. "Elon Musk's social media platform X has suspended several accounts belonging to opposition figures in Turkey amid widespread civil unrest in the country." https://www.politico.eu/article/musks-x-suspends-opposition-accounts-turkey-protest-civil-unrest-erdogan-imamoglu-istanbul-mayor/

And why do you think web3 social media will be different? If you get banned on warpcast, you'll still have your farcaster stuff, but you lost access to the main client with the best algo etc. The end result is pretty much the same as in web2

As long as access to data is decentralised, clients and web frontends are easy to spin up. It's going to be impossible to block them all, or even most of them. Losing main client does not matter for these kind of use cases.
