ITAP of the glow from Halema’uma’u Crater in Volcanoes National Park on the Big Island of Hawaii. It was once one of the longest continuous eruptions in the world, but forever changed by the eruptions in 2018.

We weren’t sure we’d ever see this glow again, and when it came back, we had to go see it.

I think they got thrown out during the big eruption in 2018… think the ash plume was a few miles into the sky.
