I do not understand why people love the Overcast app so much. Maybe it’s just because it’s Marco’s app and it’s an indie app, but it constantly freezes or is otherwise slow. I also consistently mess up the navigation.

What are you looking for in your podcast app?

Man. Dog. Van. Building sizzle.fi, surfing and playing disc golf

A well-designed, stand-alone app that's going to be around for a while. Ideally something I don't have to pay a subscription for, or if it has one, the ability to pay annually.
