Anyone have recs for surf trip to Portugal or Spain in September? Is that too early for waves?

might be started to pick up then and be fun! I did portugal in july last year (baleal/peniche area) and there were still waves but the locals were saying it picks up in fall. Even for summer, I loved it, still had a few solid days (tho some tiny ones too). Loved the area around baleal (stayed there at Salty Pelican)
