A show that a took up so much collective human watchtime and had ~zero enduring cultural impact

this doesn’t feel too uncommon in the primary network tv era tbh

see: two and a half men, grey’s anatomy, however many CSI/NCIS/whatever variations there were, etc

extremely blessed highly favored always grateful

I'm convinced my mom has not missed an episode of any variation of a cop show on the major networks in two decades. It's impressive. Never once talks about or references the shows.
