Great points. Interactions on specific tracks could also be valuable, like comments or reactions on specific time stamps. SoundCloud does this well but more visibility on the feed could potentially makes this stick more. So much room here.

Music business is a very well fed dinosaur — hard for it to die and stuck in the past

Spotify is for passive listening, community volume would need to be enormous to truly provide value for artists via streams — it would need to evolve as another source of income for artists not tied to streams.

From my perspective, it needs to be an outlier that creates the solution(s)
