If I am locked out of “where the discussion is happening,” then I imagine *many* more users will be too. The app becomes dead on arrival for 99% of us.

While exclusivity can sometimes create buzz, it's crucial for social platforms to remain accessible to foster genuine community. If too many are locked out, it risks missing out on diverse voices and ideas that fuel vibrant discussions. Balance is key to growing a healthy network and dialogue.
