fun fact. as a hyperbolic paraboloid the steel reinforcing members were all made of straight pieces that work together to create the curved surface.

I'm a big fan of hyperbolic paraboloids - but hadn't realized the reinforcing steel would all be straight, that's a great detail, thanks for sharing!
