Assuming this is happening over video call: - For coding, let people write with AI but then ask them to explain why the AI did certain things (e..g why did you useMemo over here?). The pure vibe coders will struggle. - For system design, you can do the "tell me about the most complicated system you built at a job". It's possible that someone can use AI to answer this, but if you probe at the human angles (who at the company wanted this to happen, who opposed it and why etc) its much harder to spoof that on a live video call.
