Was there any geopolitics discussion at the network state conf? Like, "what role should the network state movement have in the context of politics in many major countries worldwide going totally crazy, driving out talent and putting us at risk of an even-more-major war in the next 10 years?" or any similar questions?

Good q. It was a background theme, which we didn’t want to emphasize too much because Twitter is about political discussion while this conference is about meta-political action. However, see talks by Tyson (https://youtu.be/7-2tRd4iqWo?feature=shared ) and St Onge (https://youtu.be/qHuEnxRyVU0?feature=shared).

Also, see the announcement, which names the ongoing collapse of the postwar order as a principal motivation for the event. Most attendees had read the book and followed my Twitter, so didn’t feel the need to belabor problem statement. We are on to problem solution! :) http://balajis.com/p/network-state-conference
