But I do think there's a chance it walks a line of being a lot or some version of those things. L3 is the DEGEN denominated casino, FC for tipping, dApps integrating DEGEN for memetic/community attention.

It's still in that ambiguous state where ppl can put whatever valuation they want on it. Memecoin? Done. Layer 3 / Blockchain? You're filled. Memetic Social Money? You're also good. As with anything if you reduce the stories that can be told the audience also gets smaller

Gotcha. You're typically gonna run into latency issues there. To make the funds immediately available the on-ramping service will have to take some risk, which is a bit less friendly for decentralized solutions. Venmo is nice b/c it's instant, irreversible settlement.
