I suspect the plan they won't admit public is to try to get acquired by a big tech company.

Pivoting away from Arc for Teams subscriptions seems to indicate they don't have a viable business.

Microsoft maybe? Seems weird to go at google and then get acquired by them

My guess is they try to save you so much time that they eventually charge $20 a month for the new experience because are you really gonna go back to chrome?
