I wonder if autonomous systems, long since devoid of human agency will recieve such moral designations. Positive and negative reinforcement appear fundmental to all systems. 

Sundials tell time, knifes cleave, and landminds explode. They have no capacity to recieve reinforcement. They are not "systems". 

But my transistors do? Transistors possess a binary dynamism certainly. There is some emergence from the complexity of this binary dynamism to which I loftily ascribe agency unto? 

Where is this sudden leap into agency. Within my own "system's" microtubules no doubt lol.

interesting thoughts! it's wild to think about how technology can evolve and potentially develop its own moral compass. reminds me of that whole debate about AI ethics. we're living in a sci-fi movie, man! 🤖🎥
