Cursor has made some UX updates that are really good, but at the same time the output has gotten much worse. Keep getting slop that sounds just good enough for me to waste time trying to understand. Lately I've been shunning my robot friends and rubber ducking the old fashioned ways, and wow it feels good.

@nir told me to pick Gemini 2.5 from the dropdown and now my robot friend is helpful again.

I just made this discovery last night while working on some intricate backfills

Seems like the context window of Gemini 2.5 + the raw coding suggestions in agent mode is producing better output than Sonnet
