organizing content by balajian "startup cities" vs zuvillages made me realize i want to focus on the zuvillage branch much more anyway so this is a natural pairing down

I think one bottleneck here is information collection. It might be tricky to incentivize community contributions or automate the process. Maybe focusing on the top 5-10 network societies could be enough to add value for now.

Network societies have very different politics from one another. A platform like this could actually help mitigate conflict (idk if it's true conflict or kind of toothless) by encouraging "trade" between pop-ups / communities. Good opportunity to play network broker, maybe.

Two features I think people might like: i) a year-view timeline that illustrates the dates of these things and ii) a chronological feed with updates from the top 5-10 "states" (seems like this is already emerging)
