The good news is that on the other side of it thousands of people have learned valuable lessons about volatility, leverage, caution, trusting/not trusting, panic, and the danger of beliefs. 

Some will apply the lessons,

Others will need a couple more cycles, 

But the overall ecosystem evolves to be a bit smarter.
