Always in this debate: should I eat this for the protein or skip it for the calorie deficit?

Depends how much protein you had for the day. If you’re already at well over 100g then skip it. If you’re at 60g for the day, protein it up.

That's a good point. I guess I can look at it the same way in the other scenario. If goal is 2500 / cal / day, and I'm already at 2400, best to skip. I should probably go back to counting macros again, but ugh it feels like sucking joy out of living.
