Why can't you spend this energy, all these paper pushing for something constructive like closing the innovation gap between EU and the US?

This has nothing to do with crypto, it’s a public consultation related to processing of personal data in the context of blockchain technology. Is it really so hard to read more than one sentence?

Hmm no I don't think so. You can read more details here. The alarm was also raised by the EUCI, who are actively lobbying in the EU parliament:

That LinkedIn post highlights a more fundamental issue. It’d get no attention if it simply stated: “The European Data Protection Board is conducting public consultation on processing of personal data through blockchain technologies”. It’s indeed more engaging when it reads more like: “Act now, or they’ll destroy everything you love!”. 

There’s a little problem, though. Can you really provide any feedback other than “fuck the regulations, dude” if you don’t even read what’s being proposed?
