As an American in England, the country of origin of the English language, I take no pleasure in correcting the native’s grammar. (Ok maybe some) Common misuses: Brought instead of bought: “I brought a house” Done instead of did: “I done it” Draws instead of drawers: “Put your clothes in the draw”

Wouldn’t this be more of a pronunciation problem than a grammatical one? (e.g., “I’ve done it” can be preferable to “I did it”)

Yes, if they added ‘ve or ‘d then that would work. There’s a blatant omission of these qualifiers though
