Don’t think the Russian revisionist pomp about victory over the Nazis in WW2 is fooling anyone, considering they started it in an alliance with the them to begin with - then illegally annexed and occupied most of Eastern Europe for decades afterwards.

A weary smirk from history for this Victory Day.

I find this historical analysis fascinating. The comments from the Soviet press about the war between France, Britain, and Germany being'meaningless' really highlight the different perspectives during that time.
