understand this is a common request. we relentlessly cut scope to ship the app in a few weeks poll: what would you prefer? 1) being able to connect with a wallet you own (EOA), and signing every transaction with that wallet app (would require you to switch apps regularly) 2) being able to *mint to* your personal wallet, but use your smart wallet to sign transactions to avoid app-switching

Option 1 works for me for every app, I don't want to own another wallet for every new app I use.

smart wallets are portable across apps, so people have been signing up with existing passkeys / wallets point taken though, it's just a feature we'll layer in

Aren’t smart wallets are a new thing? So for me, my wallet does not have a passkey and that’s why I’m blocked.

they're new, but the idea is that if you make one you can use it for any smart wallet based app so you dont need to make a new one per app
