Looking at this,  it's clear why the dems lost and it also shows what they must do to make a comeback 

The Democrat party leadership has moved far left and lost touch with the ppl, the American voters have not gone with them. The voters align more with the Republican party than the Democrat party.

They invested so much in forcing their so called "elite, novel principles/ideas" down the people's throat instead of listening to people basic needs.

It's not just in America it's the same in Europe as well, same priority. There is so much people can take honestly. 

Trump basically campaigns with what ppl can relate to, it's that simple.

Their biggest mistake was relying on mainstream media and not talking about issues that the American people find important! They talked about hot issues like abortion and trans issues but they didn't touch on a lot of things that the American people were worried about!

this is what a literal bread-and-circus looks like. the holistic economy continues to decay as much as the financial policy, while the choice of government centers on a cultural schism with minimal grounding to the ethically immutable.
