What do people specifically hate about Times Square? I kinda like that it acts like a “fly trap” - drawing in and concentrating some of the tourists and chaos away from other parts of NYC. Also I’d take the crowds and lights over walking through the many intersections and subway stations w/ active construction.

I think the panhandlers are what make it unpleasant for me. In other parts of the city you can keep to yourself and ignore the world. It's very difficult to do that in Times Square. Good discussion! 163 $DEGEN

True and I’d add non-new yorker crowds just stop randomly on the sidewalk or walk extremely slow. They didn’t get memo to “Pretend it’s a city” 88 $degen
