.com is like the “gold” of domains and all of the other like .fun .xyz etc are like cryptocurrencies .com is still the market cap leader but imo all the others combined are gaining relative to it too early still to say which of .fun .xyz etc are btc, eth, etc.

what happened with .io is a story to tell, one of the reasons why .com remains the most sought after .box has been making some noise lately, especially after optimism picked super dot box and chain dot box
