what are the best examples of apps which drove net new consumer behavior? along a related thread was Clubhouse which piggybacked off of chatrooms but in a new form. Driving net new consumer behavior is quite a hard task to undertake.

substack worked like an exchange for ideas between creators and consumers; the net result was the relationship b/w them, that turned consumers into customers i once looked at it through the lens of "gumroad-as-a-marketplace but for newsletters," but it didn't cater to the community factor that substack thrives on beautifully lenny's newsletter is a great example; several creators bootstrapped their own (ex. platformer) after gaining traction through substack
