Gentle reminder to call or text the people you love. Tomorrow is never promised. Don’t take today for granted.

Dude that's the lesson I learned the hard way. Wanted to visit my granny when i was in hometown for an occasion, but got convinced by another relative that there'd be another opportunity, so we decided to visit her next time. Granny had a dementia and it was crucial to me to visit her so she could see me. Sadly that never happened. I haven't went to hometone for the next half a year and could only call her. She passed, and i was so heartbroken to have listened to that other relative instead of just going to visit my granny With the other granny i've spent last 4 years visiting her every single day until she also passed, and was making sure to enlighten her days. Told her about poaps, nft's all that stuff, basically was working at her place using every opportunity to talk and share wisdom What you said here, is so underrated. We tend to move along until we realise the people who gave us life at one point become most fragile and in need of someone around. I'm sad about all the old men and women that are alone

It’s not until you lose someone that you realize how much you took them for granted. I lost my brother in January and my dad is dying. So, I’m trying to make the most of the time we have left.
